In this Radiology X-Ray Tech role, you’ll perform high-quality radiographic exams with accuracy and safety at the forefront. Your day-to-day responsibilities include preparing patients for imaging, selecting appropriate views and body part positioning, adjusting technical factors to optimize image quality, and protecting patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure through strict adherence to ALARA principles. You’ll operate digital radiography systems, manage image capture, verify patient data, and transmit images to PACS with meticulous attention to detail. Maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, performing routine quality control, and ensuring proper contrast and exposure settings will be part of your daily workflow. Collaboration will be essential: you’ll work closely with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and scheduling teams to coordinate exams, prioritize urgent studies, and communicate findings succinctly when needed.
