Travel Respiratory Therapist Registered Respiratory Therapist Job

Clinton, IL
Contracted
Warner Hospital & Health Services
Mid Level
Step into a pivotal role as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Clinton, Illinois, where your expertise can shape patient outcomes and bring comfort to families during some of their most challenging moments. Starting December 31, 2025, you'll embark on a multi-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours each week and a competitive weekly pay range of $1,623 to $1,772. This is more than a rotation; it’s an opportunity to apply your specialized skills in a collaborative environment that values precision, compassion, and continuous growth.

Illinois offers a compelling backdrop for your career. Clinton’s welcoming community pairs small-town warmth with access to broader regional resources, and the state invites exploration—from the tranquil beauty of its parks and river towns to the cultural thrill of nearby big cities. Picture weekends spent at Starved Rock State Park, winter markets in Illinois towns, or day trips to Chicago’s museums, theaters, and dining—the kind of balance that sustains you as you deliver high-quality respiratory care.

Location benefits: This assignment places you in a hospital environment that prioritizes patient-centered care and teamwork. You’ll enjoy the stability of a dedicated unit, the chance to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists across specialties, and the flexibility to engage in travel opportunities within our national network. For those who seek variety, the program offers placements across multiple U.S. locations, enriching your professional perspective, widening your clinical repertoire, and expanding your professional network while maintaining the same core values and support you expect from a trusted partner.

Role specifics and benefits: As an RRT on the team, you’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory therapies for adults and, when needed, for other age groups. You will administer inhaled medications, set up and monitor ventilator support, perform arterial blood gas sampling, and interpret results to guide treatment decisions. You’ll participate in fast-paced responses, provide education to patients and families, document care accurately, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapy colleagues to optimize outcomes. Your role offers clear pathways for professional growth: seek advanced certification, take on acute care responsibilities, mentor junior staff, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. We recognize your expertise with a competitive benefits package that includes a sign-on bonus, housing assistance if needed, and opportunities to extend your contract as your schedule and preferences allow. A key pillar of the experience is 24/7 support from our travel program—our clinical liaison, credentialing specialists, and on-the-road staff are available to troubleshoot, coordinate housing, and ensure you can focus on patient care with minimal distractions.

Company values: Our partner organization is committed to empowering its staff—prioritizing career advancement, ongoing training, and a supportive, inclusive culture where every clinician’s voice is heard. You’ll find a stable platform that respects work-life balance, acknowledges achievements, and encourages continuous learning so you can broaden your scope within respiratory care.
