Role specifics and benefits: As Med Surg RN on this assignment, you’ll manage evaluation, monitoring, and care planning for a diverse medical‑surgical patient population—from post‑op recovery to complex chronic conditions. Core responsibilities include vital signs surveillance, wound and drain care as applicable, IV therapy and medication administration, patient and family education for discharge readiness, and collaboration with physicians, case managers, and ancillary teams to ensure safety and quality outcomes. You’ll document thoroughly in the electronic health record, adhere to infection control and safety protocols, and participate in rounds to refine care plans. This role includes guaranteed 36 hours per week, with a starting date of 03/25/2026 for several weeks. The program offers competitive weekly pay ranging from $1,832 to $1,904, plus a sign‑on or completion bonus, housing assistance, and the opportunity to extend your assignment.
