Role specifics and benefits: In this CCU RN role, your key responsibilities will center on delivering high-acuity care with a patient-first approach. You’ll perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and modify individualized care plans, and execute complex interventions under physician and team guidance. Critical tasks include ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, intra-aortic balloon pump or ECMO coordination if applicable, advanced telemetry interpretation, sedation and analgesia oversight under protocol, and rapid response to clinical changes. You’ll collaborate closely with surgeons, cardiologists, intensivists, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and case managers to ensure seamless transitions of care. Documentation will be precise and compliant, with a focus on evidence-based practices and patient safety.
