Role specifics and benefits: As a Med Surg Tele RN, you’ll manage adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions, balancing acute medical management with telemetry monitoring and rapid-response capabilities. Expect to perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications and IV therapies, initiate and adjust care plans, monitor vitals, interpret telemetry data, and coordinate with physicians, case managers, and family members. You’ll assist with discharge planning, patient education, and ensuring safe transitions to home or skilled care. The position provides pathways for professional growth—from expanding telemetry proficiency and complex chronic condition management to mentorship opportunities for newer staff.
