You’ll assist with activities of daily living, mobility support, personal care, wound care, and rehabilitation exercises as prescribed, while maintaining patient safety, infection control, and quality standards. You’ll participate in ongoing care planning, documentation, and interdisciplinary rounds, ensuring care plans reflect residents’ preferences, responses to treatment, and evolving goals. Your empathy and professional judgment will guide you in de-escalating distress, supporting families, and promoting residents’ dignity and autonomy. The role also invites ongoing professional growth—opportunities to pursue specialized certifications in wound care, dementia care, palliative approaches, or restorative nursing, with mentorship and structured learning paths to advance your expertise within the specialty.
