Role Specifics and Benefits:
- Core responsibilities: Perform high-quality CT imaging across a range of protocols (axial, helical, multidetector, CTA/CTA perfusion) with meticulous attention to patient positioning, shielding, and safety. Select and optimize scanning parameters to balance image quality with radiation dose considerations. Prepare and monitor contrast administration, follow order-specific protocols, recognize and respond to adverse reactions, and maintain patient comfort throughout the exam. Ensure accurate documentation, validate images for diagnostic quality, and communicate clearly with radiologists to support timely reads. Maintain equipment integrity, participate in routine QA, and uphold regulatory standards and infection control practices. Collaborate with technologists, nurses, and physicians to streamline workflows and contribute to programmatic quality improvements.
