Franklin, NH

Embark on a meaningful journey as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Long-Term Care in Franklin, New Hampshire. This opportunity invites you to blend compassionate, person-centered care with clinical excellence, shaping daily life and comfort for residents who rely on your steady hands, steady presence, and clinical judgment. Starting February 23, 2026, you’ll enter a role designed to respect your expertise through a schedule that provides predictability and value. You’ll earn between $886 and $939 per week, with guaranteed hours of 32 per week, and you’ll have the chance to extend your assignment as you demonstrate impact and grow within your specialty. This position welcomes your hands-on leadership in care planning, direct resident support, and collaboration with a dedicated interdisciplinary team.

Franklin sits in the heart of New Hampshire’s Granite State, where small-town warmth meets scenic beauty. The area offers easy access to outdoor adventures, from tranquil river strolls along the Suncook to hikes in the nearby White Mountains, providing a natural counterbalance to the clinical pace of your day. Franklin’s charm includes welcoming neighborhoods, local shops, and a sense of community that makes you feel at home after shifts. In addition to the immediate region, you’ll find there’s flexibility to explore other NH communities and even broader opportunities across the United States, allowing you to experience varied care environments while maintaining a stable base.

Working in Franklin gives you the best of place-specific benefits and the broader possibilities of travel-based care. The appeal of this location includes manageable caseloads that support thorough, individualized resident care, a strong emphasis on safety and quality, and a collaborative atmosphere that values every role on the care team. For those who like to broaden horizons, there’s the potential to take assignments in different states, broadening clinical exposure and enriching your skill set—without sacrificing the supportive framework of your home base. You’ll meet a diverse resident population with unique needs, from long-term memory care to restorative and palliative goals, all while enjoying the advantages of a smaller community that values continuity of care, dependable teams, and meaningful patient-family interactions.

In this role, your key responsibilities center on assessing, planning, implementing, and refining nursing care for residents in long-term care settings. You’ll administer medications and treatments in accord with physician orders and facility policy, monitor for changes in condition, manage wound care and symptom control, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds to align on care plans. You’ll document clearly, advocate for residents’ preferences, and mentor certified nursing assistants to ensure compassionate, high-quality daily living activities, mobility support, and safety. You’ll have opportunities for professional growth within geriatrics, including enhanced skills in chronic disease management, dementia care strategies, fall prevention, and pain management. The package also includes competitive benefits such as a sign-on bonus, housing assistance or stipends, and clear pathways for extension opportunities, enabling continuity for both resident care and your career trajectory. And because traveling scenarios can be unpredictable, you’ll have access to 24/7 support from our traveling nurse team—on the road or on assignment—so you’re never navigating a shift alone. We provide robust onboarding, ongoing education credits, and mentorship that empower you to lead in moments of care and coordination.

Our company values empower you to grow while you contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes. We’re committed to creating a supportive work environment that honors clinical expertise, fosters professional advancement, and prioritizes the well-being and dignity of every resident.
