Answer the call to provide compassionate, expert care as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Long-Term Care in Bennington, Vermont. This role invites you to blend hands-on caregiving with professional growth, making a tangible difference in the daily lives of residents who rely on your skill, dignity, and dedication. As you guide residents toward comfort, independence, and well-being, you’ll also expand your clinical capabilities through mentoring, education, and collaboration with a devoted interdisciplinary team. Vermont’s serene landscapes—the Green Mountains, rolling farmland, and charming villages—offer a scenic backdrop that makes every shift feel meaningful, whether you’re embracing crisp winter air, autumn foliage, or sunlit summer days in a close-knit community. Bennington’s historic charm and access to outdoor recreation create a balanced environment where work and exploration complement each other.

Within Bennington you’ll enjoy community connections, affordable living, and opportunities to engage with residents who value longevity and quality care. The role also opens the door to assignments across the United States through our nationwide network, giving you the chance to experience diverse care settings, expand your professional repertoire, and bring your steadfast patient advocacy to new teams. Whether you prefer a quiet rural setting, a bustling town, or a mid-size city, you’ll find distinctive experiences, supportive colleagues, and pathways to deepen your expertise in geriatric care, palliative support, and chronic-disease management.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality long-term care under physician orders, administering medications in a safe, accurate manner, and supporting residents with daily living activities while preserving dignity and autonomy. You’ll contribute to comprehensive care plans, perform routine assessments, monitor vitals, manage wound and skin care, support pain control, and collaborate with nurses, therapists, social workers, and families to coordinate care. Documentation and communication are essential as you track progress, identify changes, and advocate for timely interventions. You’ll also play a critical role in prevention, infection control, fall prevention, and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for every resident. The role offers ongoing professional growth through specialized training, mentorship, and opportunities to take on leadership tasks within the unit or in travel teams.

Benefits and support include a competitive compensation package with weekly pay ranging from $1,482 to $1,562, reflecting your experience and responsibilities, and guaranteed 40 hours per week. Start date is 12/17/2025 for multiweek assignments with the possibility to extend. A welcome bonus recognizes your expertise at the outset, and housing assistance helps you settle smoothly into a new community. Additional extension opportunities enable you to continue making an impact with a trusted partner. Our travel program provides 24/7 support from a dedicated team, plus comprehensive travel coordination, resources, and on-call assistance to address any challenge you encounter while you’re on assignment.
