Imagine moving through high-stakes operating rooms, where your scrubbing, instrument handling, and sterile preparation directly support surgeons and anesthesiologists. In Maine, you’ll also discover a state of natural wonders—from the rugged coast and historic lighthouses to forest trails and vibrant coastal towns—offering balance and inspiration outside the OR. Your hands will help shape outcomes, your focus will carry patients through critical moments, and your growing expertise will ripple through every patient’s recovery.

York represents a unique blend of small-town charm and robust medical culture, with access to coastal beauty, seasonal outdoor adventures, and a welcoming community. You’ll experience the benefits of Maine living while the broader travel environment invites you to work in various locations across the U.S., expanding your clinical perspective and professional network. You’ll support patient positioning, draping, and specimen handling, while vigilantly monitoring aseptic technique, patient safety, and the flow of instrumentation. You’ll partner with circulating staff to anticipate needs, adapt to rapidly evolving operative plans, and contribute to post-operative turnover with meticulous cleanliness and documentation. This position offers tangible pathways for growth within the surgical tech specialty, including opportunities to advance to lead technician roles, participate in advanced sterile processing training, and collaborate on quality improvement initiatives that strengthen patient outcomes.

The compensation package reflects a commitment to your expertise and the value you bring. Weekly pay ranges from $1,785 to $1,920, with guaranteed hours at 36.0 per week, and a contract structure that recognizes your consistency and professional reliability.
