Embark on a transformative journey as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cath Lab, delivering high-stakes cardiac care with precision, compassion, and collaboration in Princeton, New Jersey. This assignment invites you to contribute to life-saving interventions—from diagnostic coronary angiography to interventional PCI—while guiding patients through complex procedures with expertise and empathy. You’ll scrub, circulate, monitor hemodynamics, manage sterile technique, and partner with physicians to optimize outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Your impact extends beyond the procedure room as you educate patients, document carefully, and support families during pivotal moments. This opportunity not only elevates your clinical acumen but also places you in a region renowned for academic medicine, innovation, and rich cultural experiences. And for those who crave variety, the program offers pathways to work across multiple locations in the United States, expanding your exposure, sharpening your specialty skills, and enriching your professional portfolio. Across New Jersey, you’ll experience a tapestry of beautiful places—from the historic charm of Princeton to waterfront strolls along scenic rivers and the vibrant energy of nearby metro areas—while enjoying a robust, structured travel assignment designed to fit your goals.
Location benefits go beyond a single setting. Princeton’s esteemed medical community affords access to state-of-the-art cath labs, strong multidisciplinary teams, and opportunities for ongoing professional development within a supportive hospital network. You’ll work in a stable environment that values patient safety, evidence-based practice, and continuous learning, with a schedule that guarantees 36 hours per week and a start date aligned with your readiness. The broader New Jersey corridor offers diverse patient populations, a bustling urban backdrop within reach of New York and Philadelphia, and a wealth of dining, arts, and outdoor activities to balance demanding shifts. For those seeking broader horizons, there are avenues to rotate through partner facilities nationwide, experiencing different systems, equipment, and case mixes that deepen expertise in interventional cardiology, structural heart, and EP procedures. This combination of regional stability and national mobility creates a unique platform to advance while savoring the richness of the Garden State and nearby metropolitan culture.
Role specifics and benefits are designed to empower you from day one. In this Cath Lab RN role, you will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, manage sterile technique, set up and troubleshoot essential equipment, and help monitor patients before, during, and after procedures. You’ll perform arteriography, assist with PCI, support transradial and transfemoral approaches, and help manage hemodynamic monitoring, sedation protocols, and rapid response to intra-procedural changes. You’ll contribute to post-procedure recovery, deliver accurate documentation, and communicate clearly with patients, families, and the broader care team. The position offers tangible growth opportunities: pursue elevated roles in cath lab coordination, charge nurse responsibilities, or mentorship of new staff, with access to credentialing support and specialty education. In addition to competitive compensation, you’ll receive a sign-on or completion bonus where applicable, housing assistance, and potential extension opportunities to continue with favorable terms at partner sites. The package also includes the advantage of 24/7 company support throughout your travel, with a dedicated nurse liaison to coordinate shifts, orientation, credentialing, and site-specific requirements, ensuring you feel supported every step of the way. Your wellbeing and professional satisfaction are priorities, reflected in our emphasis on safety, work-life balance, and ongoing opportunities to expand your cath lab competencies.
Company values center on empowering staff and accelerating career progression within a collaborative, caring environment. The organization champions mentorship, transparent feedback, and access to continuing education, helping you build a durable foundation for a long-term nursing career in interventional cardiology.
