Step into a transformative role as a Speech Language Pathologist with a captivating multi-week travel assignment designed for passionate clinicians ready to expand their impact across diverse settings. In this position based in Lacey, Washington, you will diagnose, treat, and support communication and swallowing disorders across age groups, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to craft meaningful, evidence-based interventions. This is more than a job—it's a chance to influence lives and to grow your clinical expertise in ways that open doors to advanced practice, leadership, and teaching opportunities within the specialty. For clinicians who relish new landscapes, the opportunity to work in various locations across the United States adds exciting breadth to your professional journey, from bustling urban centers to serene coastal towns and mountain communities.
Location benefits: Lacey sits near Olympia, offering a blend of small-city charm and access to Washington state’s natural beauty. The regional backdrop provides a high quality of life and ample opportunities for personal and professional enrichment. The role also offers the unique flexibility to travel to other U.S. locations as needed, exposing you to diverse populations, settings, and clinical practices that sharpen your assessment skills, expand AAC practice, and introduce you to novel intervention strategies.
In this role, you will assess language, articulation and phonological disorders, voice and fluency concerns, cognitive-communication issues, and the use of augmentative and alternative communication systems; you will design and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and document outcomes to meet regulatory and payer requirements. You will participate in multidisciplinary rounds, consult with families, provide caregiver training, and contribute to discharge planning. The position offers clear pathways for professional growth within the Speech Language Pathology field, with mentorship, opportunities to lead therapy groups, expand telepractice capabilities, and pursue certifications in areas such as feeding, AAC, or voice therapy. Benefits include a competitive sign-on bonus, housing assistance to ease transition, and the potential for contract extensions based on performance and program needs. You will be supported by structured onboarding, ongoing clinical supervision, and a dedicated team that values your professional voice. And because travel can present unique needs, we provide 24/7 support to travelers, along with access to travel coordinators who assist with logistics, scheduling, and problem-solving while you’re on assignment.
