Embark on a rewarding travel nursing journey as a Registered Nurse with a Long-Term Care specialty, delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care to residents while embracing the unique charm of Hartley, Iowa and the broader possibilities across the United States. This opportunity is designed for dedicated professionals who see nursing as more than a job—it's a chance to mentor, innovate, and elevate the standard of care in every environment you join. As you step into this role starting December 22, 2025, you’ll experience a balance of clinical excellence, community connection, and personal growth that can redefine your career. Hartley, a welcoming Iowa community, offers tranquil neighborhoods, scenic parks, and a pace that invites reflection and meaningful patient relationships. In addition, the broader travel assignment opens doors to diverse settings across the U.S., from quiet rural clinics to vibrant urban facilities, enriching your practice with varied patient populations, interdisciplinary teamwork, and unique care challenges that sharpen your expertise.

Location benefits go beyond the walls of the facility. Hartley, Iowa, combines small-town hospitality with modern nursing resources, enabling you to deliver high‑quality LTC care in a supportive environment. You’ll work with colleagues who value collaboration, respect, and a shared commitment to dignity and comfort for every resident. For those drawn to exploration, the assignment can include opportunities to work in other locations across the country, offering a dynamic blend of stability and adventure. You’ll enjoy dependable scheduling with guaranteed hours, the chance to immerse yourself in new communities, and the professional satisfaction that comes from adapting to different care models while maintaining a consistent standard of compassionate practice. The experience across multiple facilities can broaden your clinical repertoire—from skilled nursing to memory care—while continuing to strengthen your leadership and mentorship capabilities with licensed teams you’ll guide along the way.

Role specifics and benefits are designed to empower you to deliver outstanding LTC care and to advance within your specialty. As the primary RN on each shift, you’ll assess residents’ health status, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, monitor vitals, manage wound care and IV therapy, and respond promptly to changes in condition. You’ll coordinate with physicians, PAs, CNAs, therapists, and dietitians to ensure holistic, person‑centered care, while ensuring regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, and safe discharge planning. Your expertise will support fall prevention, pain management, behavioral health considerations, and palliative care planning, always with an emphasis on preserving independence and quality of life. Beyond direct care, you’ll guide and mentor nursing aides, contribute to interdisciplinary rounds, and participate in quality improvement initiatives that elevate the standard of LTC across sites. The role provides meaningful pathways for professional growth—specialty certifications, continuing education stipends, and the chance to take on lead or mentor roles as you demonstrate clinical excellence and compassionate leadership.

Your compensation package is competitive and designed to recognize your experience and versatility. Weekly pay ranges from $1,723 to $1,777, with guaranteed 40 hours per week to support financial stability and work‑life balance. We also offer housing assistance to reduce living expenses while you focus on delivering exceptional care, and the potential for contract extensions that let you deepen your impact with familiar colleagues or new teams. In addition, you’ll benefit from comprehensive support, including 24/7 assistance from a dedicated travel support team—ready to help with travel logistics, onboarding, and any on‑the‑road needs—so you can concentrate on nursing excellence without undue stress. A signing bonus may be available depending on assignment specifics, further enhancing the appeal of this LTC travel opportunity.
