Nelson County Health System - FWS
Mid Level
Step into a transformative role as a Travel Registered Nurse in Long-Term Care, bringing compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in McVille, North Dakota. Starting on 03/16/2026, you’ll join a dedicated team that values your expertise, your voice in care planning, and your commitment to improving lives day after day. In LTC settings, every shift offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference—guiding residents through recovery, comfort, and autonomy with dignity. This assignment blends clinical excellence with meaningful relationships, empowering you to affect outcomes while exploring the rich landscapes and vibrant communities of North Dakota. And for those drawn to new horizons, this role also opens pathways to work in diverse locations across the U.S., expanding your professional portfolio and your appreciation for different care cultures.

McVille is more than a place to practice nursing—it’s a community where neighbors look out for one another, where small-town charm meets resilience, and where outdoor adventures are part of daily life. In this region you’ll experience quiet streets, accessible services, and the special pride that comes from caring for elders in a close-knit setting. When you’re ready to explore beyond McVille, our nationwide assignments offer the chance to work in a variety of environments—from serene rural facilities to bustling urban campuses—each with its own flavor of care, scheduling flexibility, and professional growth opportunities. You’ll enjoy the balance of professional focus and personal recharge, as you travel with a company that prioritizes your well-being and your ability to serve with heart.

Role specifics and benefits are designed to support your success. As a Travel RN in LTC, your core responsibilities will include comprehensive resident assessments, development and adjustment of individualized care plans, and meticulous medication administration and reconciliation. You’ll monitor skin integrity, manage wound care, administer IV therapies when needed, and lead fall-prevention initiatives to maintain safety across all shifts. You’ll partner with an interdisciplinary team—physicians, physical and occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, and family members—to coordinate progressive care plans, document accurately in electronic health records, and ensure seamless transitions between levels of care. You’ll educate residents and families, advocate for resident rights, and participate in quality improvement projects that elevate care standards. This role also supports opportunities to grow within LTC, with pathways to enhanced clinical responsibilities, mentorship of new staff, and leadership-ready experiences that can lead to permanent, expanding roles in the future.

Our benefits package reflects a commitment to your financial and professional security. The assignment offers a competitive weekly pay range of $1,814 to $1,900, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week, and a scope for multi-week engagements that can extend based on performance and facility needs. In addition to solid compensation, you’ll have access to a welcome bonus and ongoing incentives designed to recognize your dedication and results. Housing assistance is provided to ease relocation logistics, whether you’re settling in McVille or moving from another location to begin your assignment. We also offer extension opportunities, allowing you to continue making an impact with familiar teammates and facilities, should you wish to продолжить your assignment beyond the initial term. The arrangement includes robust support services, including 24/7 travel assistance from a dedicated company team, a clinical liaison for on-demand questions, and a readiness framework that helps you feel confident and secure on every shift.

Company values drive everything we do. We are committed to empowering our staff—investing in your career development, offering access to continuing education, leadership training, and opportunities to advance within LTC. Our culture emphasizes mentorship, collaboration, and a supportive environment where every nurse’s expertise is respected and every resident’s dignity is the priority. This is more than a job; it’s a partnership built on trust, growth, and the shared goal of delivering compassionate, high-quality care in every setting you serve.
