In this Histology Tech position, you will be hands-on with the full histology workflow: receive, process, embed, cut (microtomy), stain, and mount tissue sections with meticulous attention to quality control. You’ll perform routine and specialized stains, troubleshoot staining and processing issues, and verify slide quality before pathologist review. You’ll maintain instruments and laboratory supplies, uphold rigorous safety and documentation standards, and ensure accurate data entry in the laboratory information management system (LIMS). Collaboration with pathologists and lab teammates is essential, including assisting with intraoperative consultations where appropriate and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
