From hands-on wound care and meticulous medication administration to restorative therapies, daily living assistance, and subtle rehabilitation techniques, you’ll help residents maintain dignity while supporting their goals and preferences. The role is anchored in a culture of respect, empathy, and clinical excellence, with a start date of February 2, 2026. The contract is structured in weeks, offering a dynamic environment where you can apply your expertise across diverse long-term care settings while gaining exposure to a broad spectrum of conditions. Your contributions will be felt daily as you partner with families, physicians, and support staff to craft individualized care plans that honor residents’ values and choices. This is more than a job; it is an opportunity to impact lives in a community that values seasoned nursing wisdom, patient safety, and compassionate care.
Albuquerque offers a sunlit backdrop of desert skies, the majestic Sandia Mountains, a thriving arts scene, and a welcoming healthcare community. This breadth of experience not only strengthens your clinical repertoire but also broadens your perspective on elder care delivery in different regulatory and organizational contexts, all while maintaining clinician-centered support and supervision.
Role specifics and benefits: In this Long-Term Care assignment, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centered nursing care to residents with chronic illnesses, cognitive impairment, and post-acute needs. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs, manage analgesia and other medications, administer injections and treatments as prescribed, document care plans, and update interdisciplinary teams on changes in condition. You’ll support activities of daily living, promote mobility and fall prevention, assist with nutrition and hydration goals, and reinforce infection control and safety protocols. You will have opportunities for professional growth within LTC, including specialized training in geriatrics, dementia care, palliative approaches, and pain management, with the possibility of stepping into mentorship or leadership roles as you demonstrate clinical acumen and compassionate leadership. The position offers a competitive weekly pay range of $926 to $1,011, reflecting experience and responsibilities, along with a bonus structure designed to recognize performance and continuity of care. Housing assistance is available to ease relocation or temporary housing needs, helping you settle quickly and focus on patient care. There are extension opportunities for contract renewal, providing you with a clear, respectful path toward longer-term engagement based on performance, preferences, and organizational needs. In addition, you’ll benefit from comprehensive support that is reliable and proactive, including 24/7 assistance from our travel and clinical support teams, ready to respond to scheduling changes, clinical questions, or on-site needs. Our goal is to remove barriers to excellence so you can concentrate on delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in every shift.

We foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and career advancement, offering ongoing education, clinical mentoring, and opportunities to rotate through varied LTC settings to deepen your expertise while maintaining continuity of care for residents. We emphasize work-life balance, open communication, and a supportive environment where you can raise concerns, share ideas, and pursue professional development without losing sight of personal well-being. You will join a team that values integrity, empathy, and accountability, and that celebrates the growth of clinicians as they become leaders in their field.
