Role Specifics and Benefits:
- Core responsibilities include comprehensive triage, rapid patient assessment, stabilization of acutely ill and injured patients, administration of medications and interventions within scope, and coordination with physicians, techs, and ancillary staff. You’ll document care accurately in the electronic medical record, participate in discharges and patient education, and contribute to patient safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
- The position supports professional growth within emergency medicine through exposure to diverse case mixes, opportunities for cross-training with critical care and trauma teams, certification pursuit, and potential leadership development tracks.
