Embark on a fulfilling journey as a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in New Hampshire’s Lebanon, where compassionate care meets outdoor adventure. Starting 04/27/2026, you’ll join a dedicated travel program designed to elevate patient outcomes while expanding your clinical horizons. This assignment offers a reliable 35 guaranteed hours per week, with competitive weekly pay ranging from $1,415 to $1,540, and the chance to impact patients across diverse settings. The opportunity blends hands-on rehabilitation with the freedom to explore.
In Lebanon, NH, you’ll enjoy the unique benefits of a quintessential New England town set against a backdrop of the White Mountains and pristine natural beauty. Picture fresh mountain air, four-season outdoor recreation, and a welcoming community that values wellness, education, and family connection. The state’s picturesque towns, cultural events, farmers’ markets, and easy access to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center provide a supportive healthcare environment and a high quality of life. And for those who relish variety, the travel program offers assignments in additional U.S. locations, letting you experience different clinical cultures, patient populations, and practice settings while maintaining a steady, reliable schedule.
As a Physical Therapy Assistant in this role, you’ll work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to implement individualized treatment plans. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, manual techniques, strengthening and ROM activities, balance work, and mobility retraining. You’ll monitor patient responses, document progress, and communicate changes to the care team to help refine plans. You’ll also help with patient education, home exercise programs, and equipment setup, ensuring a safe and motivating environment for recovery. This position not only strengthens your clinical skills but also opens pathways for growth in specialties such as orthopedics, geriatrics, neuromuscular rehab, or pediatrics, depending on facility needs and your interests. In addition to clinical duties, the role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and adaptability—key traits for thriving in varied settings—while offering opportunities to take on extended assignments or advance to permanent positions through the company’s extended-program options.
Beyond competitive compensation, you’ll receive meaningful benefits, including a sign-on bonus, housing assistance, and reliable support to secure comfortable accommodations during your travels. The company provides 24/7 support for travelers, ensuring you have resources at any hour to resolve scheduling, housing, or clinical questions and to keep you focused on delivering excellent patient care. You’ll also gain access to professional development resources and opportunities to extend your contract to other assignments as your interests and clinical goals evolve, enabling you to broaden your expertise while maintaining continuity in your professional life. Your work will be part of a culture that values people first: a supportive environment, mentorship, and a clear pathway to progress within the organization as you demonstrate impact and leadership.
Our company is committed to empowering its staff, investing in their growth, and fostering a collaborative, respectful workplace where every clinician can thrive. We celebrate curiosity, clinical excellence, and compassionate care, and we’re devoted to helping you build a rewarding career in physical therapy that aligns with your personal values and lifestyle preferences.
