Step into a pivotal Travel Radiation Therapist role where your expertise in Radiation Therapy elevates patient care across diverse clinical settings. You’ll deliver precise, compassionate treatments, collaborate with oncologists, dosimetrists, nurses, and therapists, and adapt quickly to different teams while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. This assignment is more than a job—it’s a robust opportunity to deepen your specialty, lead by example on the treatment floor, and grow through hands-on experience with state-of-the-art linear accelerators, imaging tools, and planning systems. Begin on 02/09/2026 with a guaranteed 30 hours per week, and enjoy a competitive weekly pay range of $2,608 to $2,656 as you travel, learn, and advance across settings.
Arizona’s Southwest warmth welcomes you in Tucson, a city celebrated for its friendly neighborhoods, outdoor recreation, and vibrant arts and food scene. You’ll enjoy mild winters, desert landscapes, and easy access to parks like Saguaro National Park and Sabino Canyon. The assignment also opens doors to work at multiple sites across the United States, exposing you to varied facilities, equipment platforms, patient populations, and care models. Whether you plant roots in Tucson or rotate regionally, you’ll benefit from a supportive network that makes balancing professional dedication with personal well-being feasible. Rotating assignments sharpen clinical versatility and expand your professional network while you deliver high-quality care to diverse patients.
In this role you will deliver radiotherapy treatments with precision and empathy. Key duties include correct patient setup and immobilization, accurate dose delivery, daily QA checks, and verification of treatment localization and plan parameters. You’ll participate in treatment planning discussions, contour reviews, and plan adjustments with oncologists and dosimetrists, ensuring optimal target coverage with minimal exposure to healthy tissue. Documentation, monitoring of acute and late side effects, and close coordination with nursing and support staff are essential. The position offers exposure to multiple modalities, including IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and conventional radiotherapy, enabling you to broaden your technical skill set, master varied workflows, and stay current with evolving guidelines. With rotating assignments across sites, you’ll gain confidence in adapting to different equipment vendors, incident reporting processes, and multidisciplinary communication styles while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
We offer competitive benefits that reflect the value you bring. In addition to the hourly rates, you may receive a sign-on bonus, and housing assistance designed to ease relocation or settle you into company-provided housing or a generous housing stipend. Extension opportunities let you lengthen your assignment if mutual interest exists and site needs align. A dedicated 24/7 support team stands ready to assist you throughout travel, arrival, onboarding, on-site assignments, and transitions, ensuring you have reliable resources whenever and wherever you work. Our comprehensive approach keeps you supported so you can focus on delivering excellent patient care.
