About the Role
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you’ll perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals to evaluate organ structure and function. Assignments are available nationwide in hospitals, outpatient centers, and imaging facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging
- Operate and maintain PET, SPECT, and gamma camera systems
- Ensure radiation safety and ALARA compliance
- Verify patient identity, obtain consent, and explain procedures
- Process, analyze, and transmit images for interpretation
- Maintain documentation, QA logs, and equipment calibration records
Qualifications
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
- Active state license or eligibility in assignment state(s)
- BLS (AHA or ARC); ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine experience
- Strong imaging and patient-care skills
- Willingness to travel and adapt to new clinical environments
