Step into a rewarding Travel Physical Therapist role that blends advanced rehabilitation with the rugged beauty of Alaska. As a Physical Therapist in Kodiak starting 01/05/2026, you will influence patient outcomes across diverse settings, from acute care to community-based clinics, restoring mobility and independence while expanding your expertise in a supportive, travel-friendly environment.
Kodiak offers more than breathtaking scenery—it’s a place where compassionate care is part of daily life. When you’re not in the clinic, you can explore pristine beaches, dramatic coastlines, and wildlife-filled landscapes. The assignment may also include opportunities in additional U.S. locations, giving you exposure to varied patient populations, clinical cultures, and professional networks, all while you enjoy the flexibility and adventure that travel therapy provides.
Role specifics and benefits:
- Provide comprehensive PT evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress toward functional goals for adults and, where appropriate, pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab teammates to coordinate care, share insights, and optimize discharge planning for safe transitions back to work and daily activities.
- Grow professionally through exposure to orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric rehab, with opportunities to specialize, pursue certifications, and extend contracts based on performance and mutual needs.
- Receive competitive compensation: weekly pay in the range of $1,967 to $2,019, with a potential bonus recognizing clinical impact and dedication.
- Benefit from housing assistance to ease relocation and a supportive onboarding process, so you can focus on patient care from day one.
- Enjoy extension opportunities for clinicians who demonstrate excellence, collaboration, and commitment to high-quality outcomes.
- Access 24/7 company support while traveling, including a dedicated travel support team, ready help with licensing, housing, scheduling, and on-the-ground resources.
Company values and culture:
We empower our staff to grow, lead patient programs, and advance along their chosen career path. Our workplace emphasizes clinical autonomy paired with mentorship, collaboration, and a respectful, inclusive environment that puts patient outcomes and clinician well-being at the center.
