Mid Level
Embark on a transformative journey as a Travel Physical Therapist with a focused specialty in Physical Therapy, bringing your expertise to Pennsylvania’s Huntingdon Valley and beyond. Beginning March 23, 2026, you’ll enter a weeks-long assignment that blends clinical impact with the adventure of travel, offering you the chance to influence patient outcomes across diverse settings while maintaining professional continuity and personal growth. This role is designed for therapists who are passionate about restoring function, reducing pain, and empowering patients to reclaim independence after surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Imagine the satisfaction of seeing a patient stand taller, move more freely, and greet each day with renewed confidence—made possible by your skill, compassion, and dedication. And while you focus on healing, you’ll also discover the beauty of Pennsylvania’s landscapes, from rolling countryside to vibrant city corners, and you’ll have the option to extend your journey to other remarkable locales across the United States.
Location Benefits: Huntingdon Valley, nestled in the greater Philadelphia region, offers a inviting blend of suburban charm, accessible amenities, and outdoor spaces where you can unwind after a rewarding day. You’ll enjoy easy access to parks, trails, and cultural attractions, along with the conveniences of city proximity—restaurants, museums, performing arts, and sporting events. This assignment presents the best of both worlds: a supportive community environment in a family-friendly area and the broader opportunities that come with a nationwide travel program. For therapists drawn to exploration, there’s the added appeal of working in multiple locations across the U.S., exposing you to varied patient populations, clinical facilities, and interdisciplinary teams. Each assignment is a chance to refine your practice, broaden your professional network, and bring best-in-class care to diverse communities, all while returning with fresh perspectives that enrich your long-term career.
Role Specifics and Benefits:
As a Physical Therapist on the road, you’ll deliver patient-centered care that aligns with evidence-based practice and individualized treatment plans. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, designing and implementing therapeutic interventions, and monitoring progress toward functional goals. You’ll provide education to patients and families, teach home exercise programs, and adjust plans as needed to optimize outcomes. Collaboration is at the heart of this role: you’ll work closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure cohesive, high-quality care and clear communication across the care continuum. You’ll document assessments and progress in electronic health records, participate in care planning meetings, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives that elevate patient experience.
The position offers competitive benefits designed to support your professional journey and personal well-being. You’ll be compensated on a weekly basis in the range of $1,870 to $2,051, with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. The contract provides a flexible framework: a weeks-long assignment that may extend, depending on facility needs and your preferences. In addition to strong pay, you may be eligible for a sign-on bonus and housing assistance to ease relocation or temporary housing during travel. There are frequent extension opportunities, allowing you to deepen your impact at a site you enjoy or to explore new locations with a built-in support system. You’ll benefit from robust, around-the-clock support—24/7 assistance while traveling with the company—so you’re never navigating a clinical or logistical challenge alone. This comprehensive support extends to onboarding, credentialing, equipment setup, and a dedicated travel concierge who helps coordinate travel, housing, and site-specific details, letting you focus on patient care and professional growth.
Company Values: Our organization is anchored in empowering its staff, recognizing that clinicians who feel supported and challenged will advance more rapidly and deliver superior care. We’re committed to creating a culture of continuous learning, mentorship, and collaboration, where your clinical voice matters and your professional aspirations are nurtured. You’ll find a welcoming environment that prioritizes work-life balance, safety, and well-being, with opportunities to pursue further certifications, specialty training, and leadership pathways. By fostering a community that values integrity, compassion, and excellence, we aim to accelerate your career while ensuring you feel valued and heard every step of the way.
