Picture yourself at the heart of a dynamic OR team, where every instrument, every sterile field, and every patient interaction matters. As you support surgeons and nurses through intricate procedures, you’ll help shape outcomes that ripple beyond the operating room. Vermont’s charm awaits you—where maple-scented air, rolling green landscapes, and vibrant small-town energy blend with modern healthcare excellence. From the tranquil shores of Lake Champlain to the nearby Green Mountains, this state offers inspiring places to unwind after meaningful work, whether you’re hiking a scenic trail, exploring quaint local shops, or enjoying an evening at a lakeside restaurant. The Burlington area specifically combines a progressive urban vibe with outdoor accessibility, making it an ideal place to cultivate both professional mastery and a well-rounded life. And for those who crave new horizons, there’s the flexibility to extend your journey across diverse U.S. locations through our comprehensive travel opportunities.

Location benefits go beyond the immediate surroundings. You’ll enjoy the unique advantages of practicing in Vermont’s well-regarded healthcare system, renowned for patient-centered care and collaborative culture. Burlington provides easy access to cultural events, universities, and a strong sense of community, all while delivering the professional autonomy and rapid pace that surgical teams rely on. For those who relish variety, we offer pathways to travel opportunities across the United States, enabling you to expand your clinical repertoire, build an expansive professional network, and experience a broad spectrum of operating room environments—from community hospitals to tertiary centers. You’ll gain exposure to a range of specialties, cases, and equipment configurations, all while maintaining the supportive framework that keeps you motivated and aligned with your long-term goals.

As an OR Tech, you will be integral to the flow of the surgical environment and the success of each procedure. Your responsibilities will include preparing the sterile field and instrument tray setup, handling and passing specialized equipment to surgeons, maintaining aseptic technique, assisting with patient positioning and transport, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team to minimize delays. You’ll participate in instrument counting, specimen handling, and post-procedure turnover, ensuring adherence to strict safety and regulatory standards. This role offers clear opportunities for professional growth within the OR tech discipline: you’ll refine instrument knowledge, expand your familiarity with a broad array of procedures, and collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia teams, and perfusion staff to optimize patient outcomes. The position also emphasizes cross-training opportunities in circulating roles and perioperative workflows, enabling you to broaden your skill set and increase your versatility within the OR.

Benefits and support are central to the experience. You’ll earn a competitive weekly pay range of 2,215 to 2,300 dollars, reflecting your expertise and the value you bring to the operating room. In addition to strong compensation, the package includes housing assistance to ease relocation and living arrangements, a sign-on bonus, and potential extension opportunities that recognize your reliability and performance. You’ll have access to comprehensive support designed for traveling professionals, including 24/7 assistance from our dedicated team while you’re on assignment. This means you’ll never navigate a complex shift or a challenging case alone—you’ll have round-the-clock help with housing, logistics, credentialing, and on-site coordination, ensuring you can focus on patient care and surgical excellence.

The company’s values are anchored in empowering staff to grow and thrive. We champion a culture of leadership development, continuous learning, and a supportive work environment that respects your expertise and fosters your professional advancement. You’ll be part of a community that prioritizes mentorship, feedback, and collaboration, with resources and pathways to expand your scope of practice, pursue specialty certifications, and pursue career milestones that matter to you. The commitment to your well-being includes not only a respectful workplace but also structured opportunities to refine your clinical acumen, share knowledge, and contribute to a high-performing OR team.
