Role Specifics and Benefits: Role specifics: As an Oncology RN, you will deliver high-standard nursing care in infusion centers, outpatient clinics, and inpatient units, ensuring safety, comfort, and efficacy of cancer therapies. Your responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments before and after chemotherapy, administration of cytotoxic and targeted therapies per protocol, vigilant monitoring for adverse reactions, management of chemotherapy-induced symptoms, antiemetic strategies, and supportive therapies such as growth factors when indicated. You’ll coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and case managers to optimize treatment plans, educate patients on medications and potential side effects, and assist with discharge planning and survivorship resources.
