In this CT Tech role, your daily responsibilities center on delivering high-quality cross-sectional imaging with patient safety and comfort at the core. You’ll perform CT scans with attention to anatomical coverage, scanner calibration, and exposure control, ensuring consistent image quality through meticulous protocol adherence. You’ll prepare patients, obtain informed consent for contrast when indicated, administer iodinated contrast with vigilance for potential adverse reactions, and monitor patients for comfort and stability throughout the exam. You’ll collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to tailor imaging sequences, apply dose-reduction strategies, and implement advances in 3D reconstructions and post-processing to support accurate interpretation. You’ll participate in ongoing quality improvement, maintain rigorous infection control and radiation safety standards, and contribute to process improvements that streamline workflow and patient throughput.
