Travel Speech Language Pathologist Job

Grand Island, NE
Contracted
Tabitha Healthcare Services
Mid Level
Embark on a rewarding journey as a Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Grand Island, Nebraska, where your expertise will shape communication and quality of life for patients across diverse settings. This evolving role places you at the center of care, empowering children and adults to reconnect through speech, language, and augmentative communication strategies. Each evaluation, therapy session, and caregiver education moment is an opportunity to make a lasting impact, while you enjoy professional growth in a supportive, collaborative environment. Beyond the clinic doors, Nebraska’s open skies and rolling plains invite exploration, with charming towns, parks, and easy weekend getaways. Grand Island blends small‑town warmth with modern amenities, a welcoming community, and proximity to larger hubs, offering a balanced pace that respects both your professional and personal life.

Positioned in central Nebraska, Grand Island provides a practical base with a robust healthcare network, quality schools, and family‑friendly neighborhoods. You’ll benefit from a stable assignment with a guaranteed 40 hours per week, and a competitive weekly pay range of $2,758 to $2,843. The role also opens pathways to work in additional locations across the United States, delivering broader clinical exposure—from early intervention clinics to rehabilitation centers—while maintaining a supportive balance between professional demands and downtime. Enjoy affordable housing options or housing assistance, relocation support, and access to a traveler care team that stands by you 24/7, ensuring you have dependable help as you navigate new environments.

Your responsibilities center on comprehensive speech and language care. You will conduct assessments, design and implement individualized therapy plans, and deliver evidence‑driven interventions for pediatric and adult populations, including aphasia, apraxia, articulation, fluency, feeding, and AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) strategies. You’ll document progress, adjust goals, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and case managers to coordinate care across settings. You’ll empower families and caregivers with practical strategies to reinforce progress at home and school. The role offers meaningful professional growth: expand expertise across age groups, deepen AAC proficiency, participate in ongoing training, and explore leadership or mentoring opportunities as you extend your tenure. Our benefits include a competitive bonus opportunity, substantial housing support, and extension possibilities aligned with your career path. You’ll receive comprehensive travel support, with 24/7 assistance from our dedicated traveler success team, plus onboarding and access to state‑of‑the‑art clinical resources.

At the heart of our mission is empowerment. We’re committed to supporting your career advancement within a collaborative, inclusive culture that values clinical excellence, innovation, and compassionate care. You’ll find mentors, structured feedback, and clear pathways to broaden your impact—whether pursuing advanced certifications, specialized clinical tracks, or leadership roles within the organization. We believe that when you thrive, patients and communities benefit, and we strive to create a flexible, respectful environment that honors your contributions and individuality.

Take the next step to join a company that recognizes your expertise and your commitment to patient‑centered outcomes. If you’re ready to travel, grow, and contribute to Nebraska’s healthcare landscape while exploring inspiring communities across the U.S., apply today. Start date is 12/01/2025 for a multi‑week assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week and a weekly pay rate between $2,758 and $2,843, plus a sign‑on bonus and housing support.
