Role specifics and benefits
- Core responsibilities: Assess patients’ physical function and movement disorders, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait and balance training, and functional mobility restoration. Document progress, adjust plans as needed, and collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Provide patient and caregiver education to promote self-management, and participate in outcome measurement to demonstrate progress and drive continuous improvement.
