As a Telemetry RN on this assignment, you’ll play a pivotal role in monitoring, coordinating, and advancing patient care through continuous cardiac monitoring, data interpretation, and decisive clinical action. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitor telemetry patients around the clock, interpret rhythm strips, detect evolving arrhythmias, and communicate critical findings promptly to the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to implement care plans, adjust medications under protocol, and ensure timely escalation when patients show signs of deterioration.
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record, maintaining compliance with hospital policies and patient privacy standards.
- Administer medications and perform basic procedures within the scope of practice, while safeguarding patient safety and comfort.
