Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Travel Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide specialized physiotherapy services across diverse clinical settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health environments, and community care facilities. Your expertise will support patients of all ages—pediatrics to geriatrics—in achieving optimal recovery and functional independence. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive physiology and anatomy knowledge, excellent patient care skills, and the flexibility to adapt to various care environments. Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy interventions tailored to individual patient needs in inpatient, outpatient, hospital, and home health settings
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans incorporating discharge planning, mobility strategies, and therapeutic exercises
  • Conduct assessments utilizing medical terminology and physiology knowledge to evaluate patient progress
  • Manage acute care cases with prompt intervention to facilitate recovery and prevent complications
  • Apply specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics-focused treatments to optimize patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans across hospital, community, and home environments
  • Document patient progress accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and ensure compliance with healthcare standards
  • Support patients through education on physiotherapy exercises, post-treatment care, and community resources
  • Assist with care transitions by providing discharge instructions and follow-up recommendations for continued therapy at home or in outpatient clinics

Experience

  • Proven experience as a licensed Physical Therapist with a focus on inpatient, outpatient, or home health care
  • Demonstrated expertise in discharge planning, acute care management, and developing individualized care plans
  • Familiarity with pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and general musculoskeletal physiotherapy
  • Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to diverse patient populations
  • Experience working within EMR systems for documentation and treatment planning
  • Knowledge of medical terminology pertinent to physiotherapy practices
  • Prior involvement in home & community care environments is highly desirable
  • Ability to adapt quickly across various clinical settings including hospitals, clinics, and home health visits
