In this PCU RN role, you’ll manage a diverse mix of post-acute and high-acuity medical-surgical patients who require vigilant observation, frequent reassessments, and proactive care planning. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, timely medication administration, IV therapy with careful monitoring, cardiac telemetry interpretation, wound care, and dressing changes, as well as rapid escalation when patients’ conditions change. You’ll collaborate with physicians, unit coordinators, and ancillary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and ensure safe discharge planning.
