Role specifics: as a Dialysis RN, you will perform patient assessments before and during dialysis, monitor vital signs, manage hemodialysis machinery and dialysate parameters, maintain sterile technique, and oversee vascular access care such as fistula or graft surveillance. You’ll educate patients about diet, fluid management, and medication adherence, document updates about weight changes, blood work, and treatment responses, and collaborate with nephrology teams, social workers, and unit clerks to ensure comprehensive care.
