Embark on a transformative journey as a Respiratory Therapist in Nebraska, Omaha, where your clinical expertise will be the heartbeat of patient recovery across diverse care settings. This dedicated travel opportunity invites you to bring calm, precision, and compassion to critical moments, helping patients breathe anew and families find hope. Imagine applying your skills in high-acuity environments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and seeing the direct impact of your care on outcomes. Location Benefits: Working in Omaha situates you in a dynamic midwestern hub with excellent educational, cultural, and dining opportunities, paired with a reasonable cost of living and a supportive healthcare community. This role also offers the flexibility to travel to various locations across the United States, enriching your professional experience with exposure to a wide range of hospital systems, patient populations, and clinical protocols. You’ll gain resilience and adaptability while enjoying the benefits of mentorship from seasoned leaders, access to cutting-edge respiratory care technologies, and the chance to broaden your portfolio with certifications and specialized skills. Omaha’s steady pace blends with the rhythms of travel, giving you the best of both worlds—professional growth and time to explore the region, its parks, riverfront, and community events. And if you crave additional adventures, this assignment opens doors to locations nationwide, expanding your professional network and your horizons.

Separate note on Nebraska’s beauty: When you’re not caring for patients, take in the sweeping Nebraska plains, rolling sunsets, and expansive skies. Discover the charms of Lake McConaughy’s turquoise waters and sandy shores, the rugged grandeur of the Sandhills, and the distinctive landscapes that define the state’s heartland. Omaha itself offers a vibrant riverfront, cultural districts, and botanical spaces, delivering moments of inspiration between shifts. Nebraska’s space, pace, and sunlit horizons create a uniquely refreshing backdrop for a travel healthcare career.

Role Specifics and Benefits: As a Respiratory Therapist on this assignment, you’ll assess, treat, and monitor patients with a broad spectrum of pulmonary needs. Core responsibilities include ventilator management, arterial blood gas interpretation, airway clearance techniques, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy optimization, aerosolized medication delivery, and weaning/titration protocols under physician and intensivist guidance. You’ll participate in rapid response and code team activities, collaborate with physicians, nurses, and speech-language pathologists, and contribute to care plans that enhance weaning success, reduce complications, and promote mobility and recovery. This role is designed for growth: you’ll have access to ongoing education, opportunities to specialize in areas such as COPD management, neonatal/pediatric RT care if applicable, and advanced airway techniques, with a clear path to expanding your scope of practice as you demonstrate expertise. Expect competitive benefits, including a sign-on bonus, housing assistance, and potential extension opportunities that allow you to lengthen your stay in locations where you’ve built strong rapport with patients and teams. You’ll receive robust support designed for traveling clinicians: a dedicated, 24/7 support line, field coordinators available around the clock, relocation assistance, and streamlined onboarding processes to minimize downtime between assignments. The role offers consistent weekly pay ranging from $2,087 to $2,221, with guaranteed 36 hours per week, and a start date on or around 11/24/2025, plus the possibility of extending contracts beyond the initial term based on performance, site needs, and your professional goals.

Company Values: Our organization is committed to empowering staff through transparent communication, mentorship, and opportunities for career advancement. We foster a supportive environment where clinicians are encouraged to lead care initiatives, share expertise, and mentor teammates. You’ll find a culture that prioritizes well-being, work-life balance, and continuous professional development, with leaders who listen, advocate for you, and invest in your growth.
