Role specifics and benefits: As a Med Surg RN on a compact, high-performing team, you’ll deliver comprehensive admit-to-discharge care for medical and post-surgical patients. Your responsibilities will include thorough patient assessments, vigilant vital sign monitoring, timely administration and management of medications, IV therapy, wound care, and post-op care with a strong emphasis on safety and evidence-based practice. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, PAs, case managers, and ancillary teams to develop individualized care plans, facilitate efficient transfers, and coordinate smooth discharge education for patients and families.
