Role Specifics and Benefits: As a Special Education Teacher in this assignment, you will lead the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with a range of disabilities, including learning, cognitive, and communication needs. Your responsibilities will include creating adaptive lesson plans, delivering differentiated instruction, implementing evidence-based strategies, collecting data to monitor progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to align services, behavior support plans, and transition planning. You will facilitate inclusive classroom environments, promote student engagement, and maintain open communication with families to celebrate progress and address challenges. In recognition of the expertise you bring, the package includes a competitive compensation structure with a weekly pay range of $2,253 to $2,375. Extension opportunities are built into the program, allowing for continuing assignments beyond the initial period if both parties choose to renew.
