Travel Physical Therapist Job

Pleasant Prairie, WI
Contracted
SV-Grande Prairie Health and Rehabilitation Center
Mid Level
Embark on a transformative journey as a Travel Physical Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy, delivering hands-on care that restores movement, relieves pain, and empowers patients to return to their daily lives. In this multiweek assignment beginning 12/26/2025, you’ll shape outcomes across a variety of clinical settings while enjoying the security of guaranteed hours and a competitive weekly salary that reflects your expertise. As you travel, you’ll collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists, translating evaluation findings into practical, measurable improvements in function. You’ll see the impact of your work in real time, celebrate small victories with patients, and build enduring relationships with communities you serve. Wisconsin offers a spectacular backdrop for this work: crystal lakes, rolling prairies, and vibrant towns create a welcoming environment for clinicians who value both purpose and place. Pleasant Prairie, in particular, places you near lakefront beauty, outdoor trails, and the Milwaukee metro area’s cultural offerings, while still allowing for the quiet pace that makes travel assignments sustainable. Separately, you can explore the state’s rich landscapes, from summer shoreline strolls to winter recourse in nearby parks, providing ample opportunities to recharge between patient visits and deepen your appreciation for the communities you serve.

Beyond Pleasant Prairie’s immediate appeal, the assignment affords the chance to experience Wisconsin’s diverse settings—from outpatient clinics and inpatient rehab units to skilled nursing facilities—each with its own patient mix and care rhythms. The state’s scenic byways and waterways invite after-shift exploration, while the networks open doors to professional collaboration and mentorship. For clinicians who relish variety, there’s also the potential to extend into other U.S. locations as needs arise, embracing new teams, new equipment, and new care models. The combination of stable scheduling with guaranteed 36 hours per week and a competitive weekly pay between 2,212 and 2,318 dollars supports both professional growth and personal balance, giving you time to recharge without compromising your financial trajectory.

As a Physical Therapist on this travel assignment, you’ll conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, craft individualized plans of care, and implement evidence-based interventions—therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, gait and balance training, neuromuscular reeducation, and functional mobility work. You’ll monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and prepare clear, concise discharge plans that reflect real-world gains. Documentation and communication with the care team are essential to sustain continuity and quality of care across settings. The role offers meaningful opportunities to grow within the Physical Therapist specialty, expanding your clinical repertoire, exposure to different patient populations, and familiarity with diverse facilities. The package also includes housing assistance or stipends, and the option to extend assignments for continuity with returning patients and facilities. And you’ll enjoy 24/7 support from our travel team, with dedicated coordinators ready to assist with licensure, housing, and on-site needs while you focus on exceptional patient care.

Our organization is dedicated to empowering its clinical staff, supporting ongoing education, and promoting clear pathways for career advancement. We foster a collaborative, respectful environment where your expertise is valued, questions are welcomed, and evidence-based practice guides every decision. You’ll join a network of therapists who share best practices, celebrate successes, and invest in professional development—whether you’re strengthening a specialty area or preparing for leadership roles within rehab services. We believe that a positive, inclusive culture translates into better outcomes for patients and greater satisfaction for clinicians, and we are committed to helping you build a durable, fulfilling career while delivering outstanding patient care.

If you’re a compassionate Physical Therapist ready to make a meaningful impact across Wisconsin and beyond, apply today. This is your opportunity to contribute to patient-centered care, grow your clinical skills in a variety of settings, and thrive within a company that values your contribution and lifelong learning. Take the next step toward a rewarding travel career that offers competitive pay, housing support, extension opportunities, and around-the-clock support from a dedicated team. Note: The hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary. Final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.
