Mid Level
Advance your occupational therapy career with a dynamic travel assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico, starting 02/16/2026. As an OT, you’ll evaluate patients, design proven activity-based interventions, and partner with families and care teams to restore independence in daily living, school participation, work tasks, and meaningful leisure. This is more than a short-term posting—it's a gateway to broaden your clinical range, enrich your practice, and make a tangible difference in diverse communities. Albuquerque blends a thriving medical landscape with striking desert scenery and a vibrant cultural scene. While you help clients adapt daily routines, you’ll discover outdoor adventures that recharge your professional energy: the Sandia Mountains, the Rio Grande corridor, Old Town’s charm, and easy getaways to Santa Fe. Expect a stable base of 40 guaranteed hours per week and a competitive weekly pay of $2,163 to $2,315, with start date aligned to your career plan and assignment needs. The program also opens opportunities to serve at additional facilities across the region while maintaining core commitments, with a projected duration measured in Weeks to accommodate facility needs and your professional goals.
Location advantages go beyond the clinic. Albuquerque’s cost of living supports a comfortable lifestyle, and the city hosts a supportive healthcare community with opportunities for mentorship, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ongoing professional development. The environment is outdoor-friendly year-round, with trails, parks, and festivals that foster work-life balance. For those drawn to broader experience, our travel program offers assignments across the United States, enabling you to compare care models while keeping a reliable base. We provide housing assistance to ease relocation and help you settle quickly, plus resources for licensure support and onboarding at new sites. You’ll work with teams that value evidence-based practice, patient-centered outcomes, and a culture of safety and growth.
As a Travel Occupational Therapist in this role, you’ll conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop personalized intervention plans, and implement strategies to improve ADLs, IADLs, motor planning, cognitive function, and sensory processing. You’ll collaborate with physical therapy, speech-language pathology, nursing, and social work to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or community settings. Documentation will be performed in the electronic medical record, with accurate progress notes and outcome measures to showcase patient gains. You’ll have opportunities to specialize within pediatrics, geriatrics, or rehabilitation across multiple settings, expanding your clinical perspective. The compensation package includes a competitive weekly rate, with a potential signing bonus, and housing assistance or stipends to offset living costs. There are extension opportunities—whether continuing in Albuquerque or transitioning to new locations—so you can build a robust travel portfolio. Our dedicated support team is available 24/7 to assist with travel logistics, facility onboarding, credentialing, and any urgent needs that arise on the road. Ongoing professional development is encouraged through access to CEU resources and mentorship as you advance toward leadership roles or specialized certifications within our travel network.

You’ll join a collaborative, inclusive environment where open communication, integrity, and patient-centered care are core. You’ll have the stability of guaranteed hours and the flexibility to extend or reassign as your professional goals evolve.
