Role responsibilities and growth opportunities:
- Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and related cardiac imaging studies, including Doppler and color-flow assessments, to provide comprehensive data for physician interpretation.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, acquire optimal imaging windows, optimize gain, depth, and transducer positioning, and ensure consistent image quality across diverse body types and clinical scenarios.
- Assist with stress echo protocols, as needed, and support any additional cardiac imaging modalities under the supervision of the radiology and cardiology teams.
- Ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and secure storage of images, with meticulous adherence to protocol, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, technologists, nurses, and technologists from other specialties to coordinate care and improve throughput, patient experience, and diagnostic accuracy.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, contribute to protocol refinement, and engage in ongoing education to stay current with technology, techniques, and best practices.
