- Key responsibilities: Operate and optimize multidetector CT scanners with a focus on high-quality, diagnostic imaging; select appropriate protocols, calibrate imaging parameters, and ensure optimal image quality while minimizing radiation dose; administer and manage contrast agents per protocol, monitor patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with radiologists to interpret findings and refine exam protocols; adhere strictly to sterile technique, infection control, and institutional policies; document procedures accurately in the PACS/EHR system and participate in quality improvement initiatives; participate in equipment QC, maintenance alerts, and ongoing conflicts resolution to maintain uninterrupted imaging services.
