Estes Park Health
Mid Level
Step into a pivotal role in polysomnography where meticulous data translates into accurate diagnoses, personalized treatment planning, and improved quality of life for patients with sleep disorders. As a Polysomnographer in our Colorado travel program, you’ll blend technical precision with compassionate patient care, applying cutting-edge monitoring to help clinics deliver timely, evidence-based outcomes. This opportunity in Estes Park positions you at the intersection of clinical excellence and outdoor adventure, inviting you to grow your professional skills while experiencing the natural beauty of the Rockies. Estes Park is renowned for its alpine scenery, wildlife, and access to Rocky Mountain National Park, offering sunrise views over granite peaks and evenings full of starry skies. Beyond the clinic walls, you’ll have the chance to explore hiking, craft breweries, local art scenes, and seasonal festivals, making your work-life balance as rewarding as your professional growth.
Estes Park combines a tight-knit community feel with access to major outdoor attractions. The location offers a supportive hospital network, robust onboarding, and cross-functional collaboration with pulmonology, neurology, and sleep medicine teams. For travelers seeking variety, our program also alternates assignments across diverse U.S. locations, enabling you to expand clinical exposure, adapt to different institutional cultures, and build a versatile portfolio. You’ll benefit from a streamlined credentialing process, relocation support, and a schedule that respects your pace while maintaining high patient care standards. Colorado’s geography fosters resilience and adaptability—qualities that help you thrive in fast-paced sleep labs and on longer travel stints. Whether you’re returning after a mountain hike or starting a nocturnal shift, you’ll find Estes Park a welcoming home base and springboard to broader opportunities.
Your core duties include preparing patients for in-lab polysomnography, applying and verifying EEG leads, EOG, EMG, respiratory sensors, and oximetry, and calibrating equipment for accurate signal capture. You’ll monitor sleep sessions in real time, document events, troubleshoot technical issues, adjust protocols as needed, and ensure safety and comfort for every patient. After sessions, you’ll score recordings in line with AASM/ICSD criteria, generate clear reports, and communicate findings to physicians and the care team. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, patient communication, and compliance with privacy and safety regulations. Professional growth comes through exposure to diverse patient populations, complex sleep-related breathing disorders, pediatric and adult cases, and opportunities to participate in quality improvement projects and research protocols. We offer a competitive weekly pay range of $1,740–$1,810, with a start date of 01/20/2026 and assignments slated for several weeks, with potential extensions based on performance and department needs. In addition to base compensation, you may be eligible for a sign-on bonus, housing assistance, and contract extension opportunities that reflect your skills and dedication. Comprehensive support is a cornerstone: 24/7 assistance from our travel coordinators, credentialing specialists, and clinical leads; ongoing access to Clinical Education resources; scheduling flexibility to balance shifts with rest; and dedicated safety protocols for travel, lodging, and site orientation. The program emphasizes collaboration, feedback, and recognition, ensuring you have a voice in your assignments and routes. Note that hours and pay rates are estimates and may vary; final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.
