Role specifics and benefits: In this role you’ll perform and supervise advanced nuclear medicine imaging, including planar and SPECT, and where applicable PET imaging, ensuring optimal image quality, accurate dose administration, and patient safety. You will calibrate and operate gamma cameras, PET/CT scanners, and associated software, perform quality control, and maintain rigorous radiation safety practices for patients and staff. You will assist with radiopharmaceutical preparation, scheduling, and inventory, while educating patients and families about procedures to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation. You’ll participate in multidisciplinary rounds, contribute to protocol optimization, and document findings with clarity for physicians.
