On the Med Surg floor, you’ll manage a diverse caseload with autonomy and teamwork. Expect to perform thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs and telemetry as needed, administer medications and IV therapies, interpret labs, and participate in timely clinical decision-making. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, pharmacists, and case managers to coordinate care, implement evidence-based wound and infection control practices, and support discharge planning and patient education.
