Role Specifics and Benefits:
- Core responsibilities: Perform and optimize transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) studies with a focus on image quality, hemodynamic assessment, and accurate measurement of cardiac structures and function. Collaborate with cardiology and radiology teams to ensure comprehensive studies, assist with transesophageal echo (TEE) support as needed, and contribute to stress echo protocols when indicated. Accurately document findings, generate clear preliminary reports, and assist with scheduling and patient preparation to maximize efficiency and comfort. Maintain ultrasound equipment, verify calibration, trouble-shoot technical issues, and adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
- Professional growth: This assignment offers exposure to a wide range of echocardiographic techniques, including advanced imaging modalities and protocol development.
