You’ll apply evidence-based practice, coordinate care, and support patients through complex conditions, all while growing within a network that values clinical excellence and compassionate leadership. The Burlington setting offers a unique backdrop: a dynamic college-town vibe, a waterfront promenade along Lake Champlain, and easy access to seasonal adventures in the Green Mountains. Role specifics and benefits: In Med Surg Tele, you’ll monitor and stabilize medically complex patients, perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications and therapies, interpret telemetry, manage IVs, assist with procedures, participate in daily rounds, and execute discharge planning alongside case managers and families. You’ll collaborate with physicians, specialists, and nursing leadership to implement care plans, document precisely in electronic health records, and advocate for patient safety and comfort. The role supports professional growth through orientation programs, ongoing education, exposure to high-acuity protocols, and opportunities to take on leadership duties such as mentoring newer staff or serving as a unit resource nurse. We offer competitive weekly pay between $2,082 and $2,211, with a sign-on bonus and housing assistance to ease transition. The assignment includes potential extension opportunities, allowing you to deepen your integration with the team and the community. While the hours are flexible and not guaranteed, there is an emphasis on consistent, reliable scheduling to support your income goals.
