Your duties as an LPN in Long-Term Care will include vital sign checks, medication administration under scope of practice, wound and skin care, daily living assistance, and assistance with activities of daily living to maintain residents’ independence. You’ll contribute to timely assessments, participate in care planning with RNs and physicians, document accurately in the electronic health record, and implement evidence-based protocols for infection prevention and falls prevention. Communication with families is part of your role, ensuring they understand care plans and progress.
