This assignment is more than a job; it’s an opportunity to illuminate diagnoses, support patients through essential imaging moments, and elevate your clinical expertise within a collaborative, forward-thinking team. As you traverse assignments, your skill set will sharpen through real-time echocardiographic assessments, trans-thoracic and transesophageal imaging when applicable, and sustained collaboration with cardiologists, sonographers, and radiologists to ensure precise, patient-centered care. You’ll influence treatment pathways, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and cultivate leadership-ready competencies that set you apart in a rapidly evolving specialty. California’s sunlit energy accompanies your journey, inviting you to bring warmth and precision to every exam. And for professionals who crave breadth, our nationwide travel program opens doors to additional placements across the U.S.—an opportunity to diversify your clinical environment while maintaining a steady, supportive framework, including predictable scheduling and guaranteed hours.

California’s Madera location blends small-town charm with convenient access to a wealth of outdoor experiences. Nestled along the San Joaquin Valley, Madera offers a friendly community atmosphere, easy commutes, and proximity to Fresno’s cultural and dining amenities. You’ll enjoy climate that supports year-round outdoor activity—from hiking in the nearby foothills to exploring the lakes and parks that invite weekend getaways. In addition to the beauty of the region, you’ll have the chance to experience a variety of settings within the state and beyond, as part of our travel program, while remaining grounded by a stable start date, reliable housing options, and dedicated on-the-road support.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiography procedures, including assessment of chamber sizes, valvular function, estimate of ejection fraction, Doppler imaging, and other advanced cardiac imaging techniques as directed by physicians. You’ll help ensure patient comfort, explain procedures with empathy, and maintain meticulous patient records and image documentation for accurate interpretation. You’ll monitor equipment performance, optimize imaging protocols, and participate in daily huddles that emphasize safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The right Echo Tech will demonstrate proficiency with ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot common technical concerns, and uphold aseptic and safety standards for all imaging scenarios. You’ll collaborate closely with cardiology and radiology teams to optimize exam turnaround times, contribute to protocol development, and engage in ongoing professional development—seizing opportunities for cross-training, skill refinement, and mentorship. Our program supports you with comprehensive resources to grow, including access to continuing education opportunities and structured pathways for expanded responsibilities, so you can pursue certification advancement or specialize in emerging imaging modalities as you see fit.
