Role responsibilities include assessing and evaluating patients requiring respiratory support, developing goal-directed plans, and selecting and administering therapies such as chest physiotherapy, inhaled medications, non-invasive ventilation, and mechanical ventilation adjustments. You’ll monitor patient responses, document thoroughly, participate in rounds, communicate changes to the care team, and educate patients and families about airway clearance techniques and therapy goals.
