Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, circulating nurses, and scrub techs to ensure accurate counting of instruments, readiness of implants, and seamless transitions. Contribute to OR efficiency by equipment troubleshooting, documentation of events, and participation in post-anesthesia care as warranted. Engage in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and share best practices with team members to enhance patient outcomes and workflow.
- Professional growth: This role provides exposure to a diverse array of procedures within the OR, enabling you to broaden your perioperative competencies. You’ll have access to continuing education, certifications, and potential pathways into leadership roles within perioperative services, supported by mentors and an engaged clinical leadership team. The dynamic setting reinforces your clinical confidence and keeps you at the forefront of evidence-based practice.
