You’ll perform and validate routine and specialized tests across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology, operating a range of analyzers and instruments with meticulous attention to calibration, maintenance, and quality control. Your role includes specimen accessioning, proper labeling and tracking, and ensuring specimen integrity from collection to reporting. You’ll interpret results, perform troubleshooting, document deviations, and communicate critical values to the clinical team per established protocols. You’ll uphold strict safety and biosafety standards, participate in proficiency testing, and contribute to ongoing laboratory quality improvement initiatives. You’ll also engage in data entry, result validation, and timely reporting through the LIS/LIS-like systems, ensuring compliance with CLIA, state regulations, and internal policies.
