In this Med Surg Tele RN role, you’ll monitor and care for adult patients with a range of medical conditions requiring telemetry. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, infusion management, and rapid response when urgent changes occur. You’ll collaborate with physicians, case managers, PT/OT, and pharmacy to develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinate discharge planning, and educate patients and families for safe transitions home. You’ll document care with accuracy and demonstrate evidence-based practice, while maintaining patient safety and quality metrics in a busy medical-surgical telemetry environment.
