Role specifics and benefits: As a Hospice RN, you’ll lead comprehensive patient assessments, manage complex symptom relief, coordinate end-of-life care plans, and serve as a trusted liaison between patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team. Your duties will include comprehensive care planning, opioid and non-opioid pain control strategies, spiritual and psychosocial support coordination, crisis intervention when needed, and meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care across settings. You’ll educate families on symptom management, respite options, and advance directives, empowering them to participate actively in decisions that honor patient wishes. Please note that hours are not guaranteed; this role operates with flexible scheduling aligned to patient needs and contract terms, offering you the opportunity to optimize your mix of patient contact and personal time. In addition to base compensation, the program includes a bonus where applicable, housing assistance to ease relocation or temporary lodging, and options for contract extensions that support continuity of care for patients and stability for you as a clinician. 24/7 support is available while you travel with the company, ensuring you’re never alone on the road or in clinical decision-making, with access to clinical leads, scheduling coordinators, and disaster-response resources at any hour.
